The Norris Pig Dinner is a longstanding tradition of the Lambda Iota Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta, bringing together Brothers and New Members for an evening rooted in fellowship, reflection, and fraternity values. In keeping with Lambda Iota tradition, this event is reserved exclusively for Brothers and New Members and will feature a fireside chat by Brother Mike Dilts, Class of 1981 and Brother Cam O’Connor, Class of 2017 offering stories, insights and perspectives to honor the chapter’s legacy and their shared bond.
Timeline
2:00PM | Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting of the Alpha Graduate Chapter and the Lambda Iota Housing Corporation will be held at the Chapter House. This meeting provides an opportunity to review the past year, discuss chapter updates, and look ahead to future priorities.
4:00PM | Chapter House Tours & Meet the Brothers
Following the meeting, attendees are invited to tour the Chapter House and connect with undergraduate Brothers. This is a chance to see recent updates, share stories, and strengthen the bond between generations of Phi Gamma Delta.
5:00PM | Graduate Reception
Location: Buchanan Club (Ross-Ade Pavilion)
Join fellow Graduate Brothers for a relaxed reception before dinner. Enjoy conversation, camaraderie, and the opportunity to reconnect with Brothers from across generations.
6:00PM | Norris Pig Dinner
Location: Buchanan Club (Ross-Ade Pavilion)
The evening culminates with the traditional Norris Pig Dinner, a cherished Lambda Iota tradition reserved for Brothers and New Members. Dinner will feature fellowship, reflection, and remarks honoring the chapter’s legacy.
Post-Dinner Gathering
After dinner, Brothers will return to the Chapter House (640 N Russell St) to continue the evening, share memories, and celebrate fraternity life.
Parking
Parking will be available in the gravel lot at the 500 block of N Russell Street across the street from the Miller Academic House, and at Ross-Ade Stadium.
*Please note that due to construction, parking at the Chapter House is limited.
BROTHER MIKE DILTS
A respected leader in the construction industry, Mike Dilts serves as Executive Chairman and CEO of Shiel Sexton, a full-service, employee-owned construction firm specializing in commercial office, residential, healthcare, and education projects. With nearly four decades at Shiel Sexton, Dilts has led initiatives in business development, project management, and operational strategy, ensuring the company’s continued growth and impact.
Dilts earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Technology from Purdue University and a C.S.S. in Business Administration from Harvard University and has remained deeply involved in community and philanthropic efforts. He has served with organizations such as the United Way of Central Indiana, Providence Cristo Rey High School, Marian University, Indiana Sports Corp., and the Indianapolis Public Safety Foundation. His leadership has contributed to significant development projects that have shaped communities and institutions throughout Indiana.
Additionally, Dilts has provided critical support for some of central Indiana’s largest events, including the 2025 WNBA All-Star, 2024 NBA All-Star, 2024 USA Swimming Olympic Trials, and 2012 Super Bowl. Dilts is a 2021 Sagamore of the Wabash recipient and Purdue’s Boiler Business Exchange Hall of Fame honoree, among other notable distinctions.
BROTHER Cam O’Connor
Cam O’Connor is a 2017 graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. in Construction Management and currently serves as a project manager at Shiel Sexton. He leads complex, high-profile construction projects across the hotel, retail, and sports venue sectors, including the Gainbridge Fieldhouse renovation and multiple Purdue University facility upgrades. Beyond construction, Cam is an experienced real estate investor and capital manager, overseeing commercial property acquisitions and operations. He is also passionate about mentorship and community involvement, serving as an assistant lacrosse coach and holding leadership roles in philanthropic organizations that support youth development, the arts, and local business initiatives
in Indianapolis.
