One of the often-overlooked benefits to members of the Lambda Iota chapter of Phi Gamma Delta is the scholarships awarded each year. We have $17,000 of funds to award each year. In 2021, the house awarded $13,100 in scholarships to 5 different brothers. These scholarships reward academic excellence but also consider, chapter leadership, community service, campus leadership, and financial need. It is just one of the ways our graduate brothers are helping the outstanding young men who have chosen Phi Gamma Delta.
If any of you readers would like to set up a Chapter Restricted Scholarship you can do so through the Phi Gamma Delta Educational Association. Ben Robinson is the primary contact at 859-255-1848 ext. 133. A contribution of $30,000 will fund a permanent scholarship where only income and appreciation are awarded each year. Between National and a committee of Lambda Iota graduate brothers the applicants are reviewed and awards made each year. In other words, once you fund it the administration will be done by others in accordance with your priorities.
